3P Systems
A production and listing assistant for digital-download sellers on Etsy
3P Systems is a seller tool for shops that sell digital downloads on Etsy. It plans a release calendar, prepares the product files and images, assembles the buyer-facing archive, creates the Etsy listing as a draft, and keeps listing and order data in sync so the seller sees real views, sales and reviews instead of guesses.
The service is built and operated by Clovermoor, the design studio behind the shops listed on clovermoor.com. Today it runs our own shops. Commercial access to the Etsy API is requested so that other sellers can connect their own shops with OAuth consent.
What it does
- Plans what to release and when, from a calendar of events and seasons.
- Prepares the artwork, the print-ready files and the buyer archive.
- Creates the Etsy listing as a draft, with title, description, tags and images.
- Syncs listings, orders and reviews so the dashboard shows real numbers.
- Publishes the seller's own product images to the seller's own social accounts, if they connect them.
A person activates every listing
Nothing is published to Etsy without a person. Listings are created as drafts; the seller reviews each one in their own Etsy account and activates it there. This is by design, not a limitation we plan to remove: the "made with AI" attribute has no field in the public API, and only the seller can set it. A seller can also run the service in a mode where every step waits for their approval.
How a shop is connected
A seller connects a shop through Etsy's own OAuth screen. We never ask for and never store the login or password of an Etsy account. Access tokens are stored encrypted, are never written to logs, and are used only for actions the seller has requested. A seller can disconnect a shop in our interface — the tokens are deleted immediately — or revoke the application on Etsy under Settings → Apps and Devices.
Seller data
Each seller's data is isolated at the database level: PostgreSQL row-level security is enabled on thirty tables, and the application connects with a role that has no permission to bypass it. We do not collect Etsy content for analytics, and we do not use Etsy content to train AI models. All sales go through Etsy: the service does not replace or circumvent the Etsy buyer experience and does not divert buyers to other platforms.
Rate limits and data freshness
One API key serves the whole service, so requests are paced from a single constant derived from the published rate limit, with a two-fold safety margin. A circuit breaker suspends calls after repeated failures instead of retrying into the limit. Bulk reads are paginated and run on a schedule, never on page views. Listing data is refreshed every three hours — twice as often as the six-hour limit in the API Terms — and every screen that shows views, favourites or price also shows when the figure was collected; anything older is marked as stale.
AI disclosure
Artwork is produced with AI image models. Every listing states this in its description and carries a "Designed by" line, in line with Etsy's Creativity Standards. The seller sets the "made with AI" attribute when they activate the draft.
Status and fees
The service is in test mode and is provided free of charge, with no service-level commitments. Pricing has not been launched; we will give notice before any charges are introduced. Invoicing, when it starts, is done by us and not by Etsy.
